An important part of Swedish Christmas celebrations is the food.
Christmas ham or Julskinka is traditionally on Christmas Eve as part of the celebrations was used. Often the dinner can be a smorgasbord, which includes Christmas ham (julskinka), pickled herring (Sild), Christmas sausage (potatis korv), potato salad, sauerkraut and a variety of sausages.

2 pounds ground lean pork
2 pounds ground lean beef
6 medium raw potatoes, chopped
3 teaspoons salt
2 teaspoons ground allspice
1 / 2 teaspoon pepper
1 medium onion, chopped
Bring to a soup pot of salted water to a simmer.
Place in a bowl, add all ingredients well with each other. Form into rolls about 4 cm long and 2 inches in diameter. Cut parchment paper into 6-inch lengths and wrap sausagebind well both ends tightly with string. Place the rolls in boiling water.
Cook slowly for about 45 minutes. Remove sausages to take you out of the water and allow to cool before unwrapping.
Serve hot on the Christmas table with Swedish mustard (senap).

1 easy salted hams, 6-11 pounds
1 egg yolk
1 / 2 tablespoons sugar
3 tablespoons prepared mustard Swedish
3 tablespoons fine dry breadcrumbs
